how to disable the image/video preview of nautilus?

I want to fix, so the folders of Nautilus don't show the preview of files, such as on videos. I would prefer the icons of default. could it be set? macanudokiosko

Use alt+F2 type gconf-editor. Then apps>pref>show image thumbnails change that to never. I think you have to restart x to make it change. Just log off & back in might work.
*** never mind restarting x it works as soon as you change it.

In Nautilus, go to Edit > Preferences > Preview, and you can change the settings there.
