    please recommend a MythTV tuner card USB

    I am giving up on getting my old Plextor ConvertX box working with MythTV, and am ready to just get a new card that is supported. What should I get to use with a new Serp5 Serval laptop? It must have a USB connection, and preferably have the driver built-into the kernel so I don't have to pull out my remaining hair getting a driver installed.

    If you have one that you could just plug in and use, please tell me kind of tuner you have. Thanks

    We don't test any tuner cards. Maybe a 76-er out there is using one and will offer a suggestion.

    I don't have direct experience, but have read good things about this unit:
