    How-to upgrade BIOS on MSI-motherboard

    First.
I was in a store and buy a DDR2 2GB memory and they say that i only could get 3GB RAM with 32-bit operatingsystem. As I understand it the limit are 2 uplifted to 32 = 4294967296. I have only 3GB now but want 4GB. Is it possible to get 4GB on a 32-bit Ubuntu 10.04LTS or newer?
    My motherboard are this:

Ubuntu 16.04LTS 64bit, 16.04 Lubuntu 32-bit on eeePCs and OSX on a G4 800MHz iMac (iLamp). I think I have an W7 on one of my Virtualbox machine under 16.04LTS?
