    Ubuntu 9 not seen in start menu option

    Hi i just installed ubuntu 9 on xp sp2, it installs fine, but when I reboot it does not show up in boot menu options or in start menu options after xp has booted.

    No, you can't. Did you install Ubuntu alongside XP? Or you installed it over XP? Ubuntu isn't supposed to show up in your start menu. I would suggest you read up on the installation steps from start to finish before you try to install it again and dont do it until you understand everything.     Found it, had xp n win 7 boot menus, checked in win7 boot menu n it was there. Thanks
