    Stop NetworkManager Applet Asking For Password On Every Boot On Ubuntu 9.04?

    Hey,
    recently installed Ubuntu 9.04 on a PC, and set up the wireless. Now every time we boot up the machine, it asks for the password we set.
    Auto login is currently on, and the password is the same for both.
    How can I stop it doing this so that when I boot the computer it will literally boot and go to Desktop with no problems?

    Here is one possible solution. Try it and see if it works.

    1. System->Preferences->Network Connections

    2. Wireless tab, select your connection and click 'Edit'

    3 .Put checkmark by 'Available to all users'

    4. Reboot

    If that doesn't do it, I have another idea.

    Red face Re: Stop NetworkManager Applet Asking For Password On Every Boot On Ubuntu 9.04?

    Oh, thankyou so much for this! It's been so frustrating having to wait to put in the password before I can get on the internet!

    This one thing has already to make my life so much less frustrating!
