Multimedia Keys : HP Touchsmart IQ522

Hi,

I've installed ubuntu on a HP touschsmart IQ522, almost everything is working
but some multimedia keys on the keyboard: [?], contrast up and down and
and the keys volume up/down and the home button on the right of the screen are not working.

Nothing on xev, nothing with showkey -s, showkey -k...

same problem for me on an hp pavilion dv3000.

any ideas?

Did you try going into System > Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts?

I've had success getting extra keyboard keys setup that way.

no nothing from the keyboard shortcut.

only way to change it if you cant work, is through system/preferences/display.
