    Uninstall OS from dual boot

I have both ubuntu and windows xp installed on my desktop. I now want to remove windows xp and do a fresh install. How do I remove windows xp first from the dual boot option.

If you're doing a fresh install of Ubuntu, then telling the installer to use the entire disk will wipe EVERYTHING from your hard disk, including Windows.

IMPORTANT: make sure you make a backup of important data (including recovery partitions) first.

After you do fresh install of XP you will have to reinstall grub.
