Pasting web sites from Boards

I guess this is a yes/no question. Is there any danger in pasting any/all web sites offered here or on any discussion boards? I feel perfectly safe here, but wonder about the Yahoo boards. I've been going everywhere someone recommends but have run onto some strange stuff.

If your running Linux and Firefox you should be ok ..... but if your running Windows and IE then no you might not be safe ....

I guess I'm wondering about a little clarification of what you are asking. Do you mean copying and pasting commands found on various websites in regards to fixing issues you are having or simply going to those sites in question? If its just going to the sites, yes you would be safe but if you are asking about running commands you might find on other sites, then I would say maybe but maybe not, depending on the commands being given.

Oh, yes, that was my mix-up. The warning I was thinking of was the warning about running commands. So now I can put my mind at ease about going to any web site. Thank you for going further about my question.
