[solved] backup wine and installed apps

I have a separate /home partition and when reinstalling Ubuntu all settings and stuff are kept. Apps installed with wine are saved in .wine in the home folder so I would think that after a reinstall I've just had to install wine and the apps will be there just as before.

But I've heard this is not the case. What do I need to backup so I won't have to reinstall those applications I have in wine?

As long as the .wine directory was left intact, then you have already backed up everything and you can simply install Wine and keep using your stuff. If you saved your entire home directory, you shouldn't even lose your Applications menu shortcuts.
