wine slingbox anyone done it

i read a little article someone wrote about making the slingbox program work with wine on ubuntu. i have tried it but keep gettin an error with the .net framework. has anyone sucessfully made the slingbox work on their system?

There are 2 ways to install slingbox under Ubuntu (using wine).

I have a slingbox classic and have run under Mint along with various versions of Ubuntu including my Mini9.

One way is to go to WineHQ and search for sling.

I did this before I reflashed to Ubuntu 8.10.
It functions pretty good... of course not as good as my desktop
