    Where is \media: really!!!

I've been searching for the last two hours and am now pulling my hair out trying to find a solution to this.

How do I disable special URIs in KDE

I like the console! But its easier for me to find things using a gui like dolphin. Once I've found them I like to copy and paste the URI into the console to do stuff. I run into problems when it comes to media:/scd0/

KDE prides it's self on configurability doesn't it?
So can someone please tell me how do I turn this off so that it shows the actual mount point /media/cdrom0 instead?

So very much appreciation to anyone who can help me here.

    Thanks

Hi I'm no expert, but I think you may be confused over some points. (Proviso - forgive me if I am wrong).

First: I think you may be using the term 'URI' out of context, you could simply use the terms 'path', 'address' and 'mount point'.

    Second.
how do I turn this off so that it shows the actual mount point /media/cdrom0 instead?
    /media/cdrom0 IS the mount point.

    Hope this helps
