Hello everyone I have a very slight issue, upon reboot of my system into Ubuntu, I got an error about the Fast User Switch Applet and I accidentally clicked on the delete option (in the attachment) and now I no longer have the restart, shut down menu in the upper right corner. How can I get this back. Through Synaptic maybe?
james.brantley, Right click on top panel > click on Add to Panel > scroll down to "Quit" > Add ( or drag and drop). Edit: Or did you mean it's missing from "Add to Panel"?

I searched through the "add to panel" menu and saw many options but not the original/ default "quit" According to the error message that that I received when I chose delete it deleted the configuration might this be why it is not there any more?
One of the other ones would work but they do not have the "lock screen" option like the default applet.
So yes, it is missing from "add to panel".
james.brantley, In that case in Synaptic search for: "fast-user-switch-applet" and install. I can't imagine that it would have been deleted from Synaptic (famous last words).
