    Re: HOW-TO: Connect Sixaxis to Ubuntu trough bluetooth mode

    If I understand your 'GASIA_GAMEPAD_HACKS', I have to replace the 4 files in your 'Experimental Gasia Gamepad hacks, force disconnect on battery low' in the source and build the new package, and test (but there is a chance my linux kernel crash) ??

    I'll try, but how do it work ?

    I'm trying some stuff before buying a real SONY controller, and to put back the fake one in the dust

    I can't recommend this for you. You seem to not have the necessary experience for this, and chances it will work are very very minimal.

    There's nothing better than the original Sixaxis anyway

    In Gasia recv function don't work and for enabled need other array.

    I got the result by doing:

    In shared.cpp change function enable_sixaxis
    Code:
    void enable_sixaxis(int csk)
    {
        char buf[128];

        unsigned char enable[] = {0xA2, 0x01, 0x00, 0x96, 0x01, 0x96, 0xFF, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x10, 0xFF, 0x27, 0x10, 0x00, 0x32, 0xFF, 0x27,
    0x10, 0x00, 0x32, 0xFF, 0x27, 0x10, 0x00, 0x32, 0xFF, 0x27, 0x10, 0x00, 0x32, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00,
    0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00
        };

        /* enable reporting */
        send(csk, enable, sizeof(enable), 0);
        //recv(csk, buf, sizeof(buf), 0);
    }
    In sixad-sixaxis.cpp string 262
    Code:
    //led_n = set_sixaxis_led(csk, settings.led, settings.rumble.enabled);
    cd sixad
    make all
    sudo make install
    /etc/init.d/sixad start
    Press PS3
    Wait rumble Gasia
    cat /dev/input/js1

    Nice! I can see it working now

    Where did you get these values?
    Now I need a way to make this work with and without Gasia hacks (detecting a Gasia gamepad somehow...)

    Ok,

    Thx for your answer Mvd126, but when I make, I have some error (some missing files).

    I'll let the professionals do until I go put my eyes on a C programming book

    Thx both of you.

    I added this latest changes (and a bit more, to fix rumble and led number) to qtsixa git code.

    I'm still doing tests though.
    The main problem now is that the gamepad doesn't want to disconnect... LED 4 is always on, and the usual 'holding PS for 15secs' doesn't work. So I'll have to wait until the battery gets fully used, charge it a bit, and re-test.

    I'll let you know of any updated on this.

    I know about that, but the Gasia gamepads (or at least mine) don't have it.
    That tiny space is just a hole...
