Is there a music player / script that stores music rating in the file itself?

Is there a music player / script that has the option of storing music rating in the mp3 file itself instead of in a separate db/library file? I think this is a good idea because it would not tie you to a specific media management software, and I'll be able to sync music library with windows media player (on another computer) or any player that supports this really easily with svn or something (not just once, but every time I change a rating)

If that's not possible, is there at least a script that does that (converts rating info in the mp3 with the library of a specific player, and do the same the other way around) ? So i can schedule it to run every once in a while to sync the ratings.
