Simple Guide to getting ubuntu running on a unibody macbook?

I am having multiple problems with my multitouch trackpad (2 finger scroll and 2 finger right click), bluetooth capabilities, isight, and my internal speakers after installing ubuntu 9.04 on my unibody macbook. I have tried searching these forums for solutions and tried some that have been suggested but nothing is working. Can people post their solutions to getting the aluminum macbook up and running with all features working. I can use the terminal and I am fairly computer literate but I am new to ubuntu. If anyone can help me that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    I have a 2.0gHz, 4gb RAM, 250gb hd late 2008 unibody macbook.

    Hey,

When I first saw the title of your thread, I thought you were posting a guide.

Anyway, there are these instructions here for the macbook aluminum with Ubuntu 8.10.

    https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBook%20Aluminum

My Macbook Aluminum is in the mail. Hopefully I will be able to help you further later by adding a Jaunty (9.04) section to that page. I'll send you a PM if I do.

I tried almost everything that this thread said to do any my trackpad and other things are still not working. Maybe these packages don't work on jaunty. I hope someone writes a guide on jaunty soon. For now i'm using a wired mouse when I boot into ubuntu because I can't get my mighty mouse to pair with my laptop in ubuntu. If you or anyone can provide any more specific help for jaunty that would be great.

Please always refer people to the main documentation matrix... The documentation for the unibody Macbook and Jaunty is there.

Thanks! I used the guide in here and got my trackpad and internal speakers working. Resetting the bluetooth makes the mighty mouse I am trying to pair visible, but after I enter the passcode it always says connection failed. Is there any way to get the mouse to pair?

bluetooth is touchy, and I have always had problems with it since Linux updated the bluetooth stack a few versions ago.

Ok, well now that my trackpad problems are fixed bluetooth isn't that much of an issue. If i really need a mouse I will just plug my wired one in.
