    Removing editing green markings

I want to remove the ubiquitous green markings that indicate poor grammar, etc. It's disconcerting and I can't seem to get rid of it.

    Hi,

Which program are you running when it happens?

    My regards

PS Glad you fixed your other problem. Do you use Firefox?

    Hi,

    Yes, thanks.

    Yes, Firefox.

It happens on Abi Word Processor.

    Hi again,

    That should fix your problem.

    My Regards

Re your comment elsewhere re Ctrl + and Ctrl - In Firefox if you chose the add-on "No Squint" it is much quicker than using say, Ctrl + two or three times.
There is an alternative to set a minimum font size but that, for my use, has a major defect.

    Re: Removing editing green markings

Is it acceptable to go on to a new topic here? (I could post a new thread about resolution...) But I'm so happy you've responded to my plight.

I may go and look to see if I can find that add-on. I must say, I'm afraid of the "Title" "No Squint" because my resolution was stuck on HUGE. It's odd and interesting that the computer itself has tried to solve my problem. But I still can have to size down-- I'm only sizing up after sizing down too much and after having gone to full screen...(Most especially tricky with MAIL)

Is ta ta simply a warm coming or going greeting? Like aloha??!!)

    Re: Removing editing green markings

    Hi again,

It would be very rude for someone else to insert a new topic into this thread where they expect an answer to help them (as opposed to making a comment as you did about Ctrl + and -). However, as I'm only conversing with you I don't think there will be any objections but to get the best advice it's always best to start a new thread with a descriptive title and then tell of anything that may be important e.g. where, when and how.

As you get everything more and more to your liking clones and/or backups may be important to you.

    My regards

Since the days of floppies and CDs are gone, aren't they?

My friend got something you plug into the tower, into a USB port (did I say it right) Do you recommend that route for back-up?

I thank you for your kindness AND assistance.

    Re: Removing editing green markings

    Hi again,

A USB flash stick may be useful to you but we need more information. If nobody else chimes in (and they are welcome to) I'll ask you some preliminary questions "tomorrow" about the sizes of your hard drive its partitions and used space and I'll explain where you can get that information.

    My regards
