ever since i upgraded to Ubuntu 10 my display has gone hazy. its all messed up pls help me urgent

Hello friends,
i have upgraded ubuntu from 9.10 to the latest version which is released, the problem is that, my desktop has become all hazy and blurred nothing is SHARP.

Pls help how can i fix this.

Hi and I have moved your post to your thread as The Great Desktop Effects FAQ of 2010 is not for support questions.

From the screen shots I see no issue.
What is the graphics card model? You can use the command in the terminal

lspci | grep VGA

Have you tried to install the driver for it? You can start under system, administration, hardware drivers.

i guess my display is screwed up, even when i see the screen shots in window they appear normal but believe me its all hazy not sharp at all.
