    Constant Lockups on Asus G50VT

I installed Ubuntu 9.04 (64 bit) on a EXT4 partition on my new Asus G50VT, it worked properly for a number of days, and then it started locking up, last night it became almost completely unusable, I'm thinking that I may have some filesystem corruption, since Vista is still running. I'm used to Ubuntu being extremely stable, Locking up completely more than once per WEEK is too much, and I'm dealing with lockups at least 3 times per day in Ubuntu, while Vista just keeps on going, and going, and going... you get the idea.

What do you reccomend I do with the Ubuntu on my Laptop?

On my other machines in the house, I have another copy of Ubuntu 9.04 which has been running perfectly for the last couple of months (32 bit, EXT4 root drive, EXT3 Home drive) and Ubuntu 8.10 (32 Bit, EXT3)

Anyone? ... I guess that I'll just do a clean install, but use EXT3 this time...
