vim-latexsuite now working in jaunty

I installed vim-latexsuite but I don't see any effect. I have checked the install with

vim-addons status

and it says that latex-suite is installed both for user and system. However, the menus aren't visible, nor the shortcuts. Any ideas? Thanks.
