    Revert Karmic to Jaunty

    Hi All,

I was updating Jaunty packages, and the next thing I'm using Karmic. This is development software, and is giving me a headache. I want to go back to 9.04. How to do that? I edited the source.list to jaunty and did update. Is that the proper way to downgrade?

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Regards,
    Trung

Seems we get this question nearly every day -- and no one is able to do a search before posting!!

No -- there is no simple way of "downgrading", "rollback", "restoring" to a previous version.

My search didn't seem to come up with anything useful.

At any rate, how did it happen? I made a point of going in to Synaptic's options and selecting to only be notified of new LTS versions.
