    Teo,

    How often does Accuweather update?

    I am sitting here at 1:46am on the 11th but my forecast still says 8.10.2010 and 8.11.2010 instead of 8.11.2010 and 8.12.2010

    Thanks

    They update quite often.
    Assuming that you're in the US, it has indeed taken a bit too long for them to change the forecast... server maintenance, rss mod got lazy, purely incidental, who knows?
    I'm sure it won't be a lot longer than 2am...

    4 Am and still the same. Interestingly, I have an Accuweather plugin on my F-Fox also and it updates on time. And, the current temperature is updated on the Conky script as it changes, it is just the forecast dates that is not changing

    I will dig into their side and see what I can find.

    Thanks

    Edit

    4:30am and they updated

    Yeah, do that and post back.
    On my side, the script generates exactly what the rss info has to offer.
    An hour or two is acceptable, but four and a half?...
    The ff plug in probably gets its info elsewhere (i.e. not the rss feed)...
    Thank YOU for the info.

    Re: HOW TO: Conky weather info using Accuweather RSS

    And this is weather part of conkyrc
    Code:
    ${color Cyan}Novi Sad ${hr 2}$color${execi 600 sh /home/ech0/.conky/scripts/weather_script.sh}
    ${font conkyweather:size=35}${execi 600  sed -n '4p' /home/ech0/.conky/scripts/conky_weather/weather1}${font} ${voffset -20}${execi 600 sed -n '1p' /home/ech0/.conky/scripts/conky_weather/weather1}

    ${rss http://rss.accuweather.com/rss/liveweather_rss.asp?metric=1&locCode=EUR|CS|YI003|NOVI SAD 10 item_title 1}
    ${font conkyweather:size=35}${execi 600  sed -n '5p' /home/ech0/.conky/scripts/conky_weather/weather1}${font} ${voffset -20}${execi 600 sed -n '2p' /home/ech0/.conky/scripts/conky_weather/weather1}

    ${rss http://rss.accuweather.com/rss/liveweather_rss.asp?metric=1&locCode=EUR|CS|YI003|NOVI SAD 10 item_title 2}
    ${font conkyweather:size=35}${execi 600  sed -n '6p' /home/ech0/.conky/scripts/conky_weather/weather1}${font} ${voffset -20}${execi 600 sed -n '3p' /home/ech0/.conky/scripts/conky_weather/weather1}
    For starters, change this line
    Code:
    ${color Cyan}Novi Sad ${hr 2}$color${execi 600 sh /home/ech0/.conky/scripts/weather_script.sh}
    to
    Code:
    ${color Cyan}Novi Sad ${hr 2}$color${execi 600 sh /home/ech0/.conky/scripts/conky_weather/weather_script.sh}
    and post us the results.

    under the NWS instructions you wrote, "Put the .conkyrc file in your home folder... and you're done." I have not been able to find the .conkyrc example file.
