    Tablet screen streaked, external ok

Stylistic 4120 No removable drives, wont boot from USB
Finally got a bootable load that runs (oddly enough 9.04)
Used a 2.5 to 3.5 converter and loaded from the alternate disk.
(wireless popped right up; very cool!)

The LCD works fine until just after the UBUNTU load progress screen.

After booting, screen looks like it it taking the first row of pixels and repeating it down the length of the screen. Tablet and pen are working.

Bios is set to repeat the display on the external vga port. Im using this setup right now to create this thread.

I did the lspci thing which gives me this excerpt.

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82830 CGC [Chipset Graphics Controller] (rev 04)
00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation 82830 CGC [Chipset Graphics Controller]

My understanding is that the generic drivers should work for intel.

    Anyone with ideas??

    Cheers

Same problem on a Stylistic 4110. I SO want to get Ubuntu MID Edition running on this. Any help out there?
