Max Resolution 800*600

I've been 3 days with my Nvidia and Kubuntu 9:04 fought and I have tried suggested solutions, I do not only come to a solution.

as the title suggests, the maximum resolution is 800x600 for me, I need 1280x1024 how do I do that. Enclosed is my log and my xorg.conf.
I look forward to your answers

Did you enable the restricted drivers?
(I am not a KDE person)

It might be that you need to set up the resolution through:
sudo nvidia-settings

this command:

sudo nvidia-glx-config enable

says cammand not found !!!! and nvidia-settings says "you do not appeat to be unsing Nvidia X driver ...... just run nvidia-xconfig as a root" when I run nvidia-xonfig i cannot see anything what can i do??

You have to install the restricted drivers,
check in system> administration> hardware drivers.

Thanx for your tipp, i did try the solution with system> administration> hardware drivers before i writed in this Forum, after installing the restricted driver i become a black screen in the login window after system restart...
what can i do or what is my mistake ?

Pl search for nvidia driver solutions for jaunty. they have been solved in many ways in ubuntuforums.

I am stuck too for nvidia on jaunty - the same machine works perfectly well with hardy and nvidia.
