Question aMule doesn`t connect to Kademlia

Mine aMule 2.2.2 in Intrepid connects to KAD, but aMule Adunanza 3.14b3 in Jaunty doesn`t. Yet they share the same home folder (separate partition) and exactly the same set up [static IP, port forwarding etc.]. Why?
Can I fix it somehow? I realise, I can downgrade to previous version, but that would be the last resort.

    dkeusch,
Mine problem is solved. Long time ago I found on aMule forum:- Adunanza is not the proper aMule.
I do not know, if this is a bug, but it cost me 2 weeks of frustration to find out (only thanks to fantastic people in aMule forum) that the only aMule in Add/Remove is not proper aMule but some geek mod call Adunanza with which I coudn`t connect to KADemlia.
At the same time Synaptic offers both: - the proper aMule and mod\Adunanza (I wish , I knew it before); - why not Add/Remove???
If Ubuntu is “for human beings” (and I consider myself human) I`d say – fix it, plse!
