    MBP 4,1 Jaunty Bluetooth Prob.

Ok so, I got everything working fine now, except bluetooth. I see the icon in the bar, but when I try to connect my microsoft 5000 mouse 3/4th of the time it says pairing failed. It managed to pair one time but 5 seconds later the sync light on the mouse started blinking again and it unpaired.

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I'm really enjoying Jaunty on the MBP, its great to have it working perfectly again (last time I took the time to get linux working flawlessly was on an old hp lappy, and it took days instead of an hour.)

It feels like I could spend all my time here and only jump to OSX for video editing.

I know what you mean about OS X video editing, excellent options there.
    Anyway, to the point.
Make sure you're running the latest bluetooth firmware/software. Make sure the mouse works with other computers, make sure you have a good bluetooth module in your machine.

I would install blueman and pair with your mouse and restart. Hopefully it will work for you.

    Code:
    sudo apt-get install blueman
