Question finding a flash drive's device node

I want to try to install Ubuntu Netbook Remix on a flash drive but I need help writing the img file to the other flash drive first. I found instructions on Ubuntu's site that give me the command but tell me I need to know the device node that the kernel has assigned it. It told me to use dmesg | tail -20 to find it. I was wondering how to interpret the output of Dmesg as I cannot tell what the device node is from output given. Thank you for any help you can provide.
The number of living people on Earth today is not in the trillions. In fact, the number is much much smaller. Most people are too busy living in yesterday and tomorrow.
