can you explain what you are actually asking?
Are you asking if 9.04 will work with the graphics card?
will it use the same driver, or use something else?
I don't understand exactly what you are meaning.
I admit I don't know much about the driver you listed. However I know that 9.04 is compatable with a lot of video cards, expecially fairly new ones, that came out after 8.10.
It is very possible it will use the same driver, or find one that is better. If not, and you don't have the correct resolution, try going to hardware, search for manufacture drivers for the device, this should find the driver, simply click on it, and tell Ubuntu to use that driver,(activate it)
but could you be more specific.
No your not.... i had the same problem.... just trie this...

Heh, great that my wiki gets recommended here.I just wanted to say that the wiki is meant to be a knowledge warehouse for all SiS graphics/Linux topics. You can find it here: http://ncc-1701a.homelinux.net/~linux-sis
And please let me know if you find something interesting out. I'll be more than glad to add it to the wiki.
Best,
Dennis
