(probably wrong area but...) Does anybody else have this bug?

I checked lauchpad recently for a bug where update manager does not notify the user that there are updates in the notification area... I have to check update-manager manually to see if there are any updates.

I'm running Jaunty and I found nothing while searching launchpad. I always get yelled at while posting bugs, so I was hoping that it was already filed but I found nothing.

i have seen it many times in others' threads even though it never happened to me. i usually get Some updates, but i have to check manually for all of them to be shown.

Okay...

I'd hate to be the one to file that bug report to Lauchpad. I always get a load of **** for doing this and that wrong. Either that or the bug report is closed during the next couple of days because it lacks proper information.

Oh, right! Thanx. I've nvere waited a full week with updates, and therefor I don't get the notification. I'll wait a bit and see it in action then... Thanks a lot!
