Pretty hard because I never dealt with a VPS before, but I hope I'll make it trough.

What are the chances of providing dedicated hosting? Some other people I work with are looking for some American based hosting solutions that are somewhat affordable (under $70/€50 per month), reasonably outfitted, and have very prompt support. As it stands, they're using a German based host, but the owner is looking for a server in the Americas to have a more domestic solution for the users.

However, I would say that the discount available directly from fivebean is better (65%) - says July specific.
