FL Studio Alternative?

I've been looking on the internet for a freeware alternative for FL Studio on Ubuntu. I know Hydrogen, but that only supports drum samples (best for that purpose), is there anything that is almost the same as FL Studio but is freeware and for Ubuntu? I'd appreciate if someone could assist in finding one. Thank you.

Try Ardour.
If you like to mess around (or if it's your job) with multimedia files, try Ubuntu Studio (another distro, but I think you can upgrade standard Ubuntu installation to Ubuntu Studio. For that matter, ask the master. I'm just a newbie, too.

And also, I found LMMS. It's pretty great, and fruity-loops like (it can also can import Fruity Loops project file)

Linux Multimedia Studio (LMMS) is a free and effective alternative to FL Studio. You can even import VST plugins and such.
