Hi--

Ever since I installed OOo 3.0 (using the debian repositories), when I use the gnome search for files tool, when it finds an OOo file, it reports "There is no installed viewer capable of displaying the document."

So I have to then find the file in nautilus or in OOo and then open it from there.

As an additional clue, when I go to System > Preferences > Main Menu, it shows OOo 2.3 in several places and if I tell it to delete that from the menu it does not.

Another clue: in nautilus, right click on the file and choose Properties > Open With > Add, it has multiple entries for just about everything--text editor, gThumb, OOo 2.3, OOo without any numbers which means it is 3.0, etc.

I have searched here and in Google and find no way to handle this.

So: how can I get "search for files" to open an OOo file?

Thanks!
