    kde 4.2, is it worth upgrading?

    is it worth upgrading to kde 4.2? what your views?

    im currently using kubuntu 8.10 which has kde 4.1.2 on it im curious cus i know kde have realised kde 4.2 is it worth upgrading to it?

    Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

    They've got the plasmoids sorted and it's got far better eye candy. The multirow taskbar from KDE 3.5 is back.
    KDE 4.2 is also undeniably more stable than 4.1.x

    another thing, i can't install my display driver because the refresh rate on the monitor keep saying signal over range so i can't install the drive because i can't use anything on my system then. will that affect the installation of kde 4.2?

    In a word yes, If you like 4.1 you'll love 4.2

    how do you upgrade? and will my monitor problem affect the installation?
