I'm betting not just ubuntu-ph.org but also a bunch of other ubuntu-nn.org sites that used to be in 1 server. The problem is, Canonical owns these domains and are pretty slow on acting up on requests filed via RT or whatever is the method used now.

its a bit of a tragedy though, Cannonical not acting on it, its been like a year now? or is it more than six months.
Yup it blows. Incidentally, do you know that www.ubuntu.ph redirects to ubuntu.com? And also, you can't do anything about it but bitch when nothing happens because Ubuntu is a trademark of Canonical.

Spam
? . ?
I emailed rt
and its probably useless, a contact person didn't even get them to process the request, how much more a non contact, but well, what better way to kill the time in a cloudy Sunday afternoon.
how about we all plea? then perhaps they'll notice us.
There was some confusion about this thread. It was reported by users as spam and staff dealt with it as if it was spam. We apologize for the confusion and inconvenience.

I have repointed (www.)ubuntu-ph.org at the generic LoCo site placeholder. Should you wish to have the DNS pointed at another IP, please ask your LoCo Contact to send an GnuPG-signed email to rt--AT--ubuntu.com.
The only request ticket I can find for Ubuntu-PH on the Ubuntu RT was filed two months ago. Please note that there are several hosting requests in the queue and they all take some time and require the necessary server resources, etc.
When this hosting request gets done; I shall point the DNS to the new server location.
Due to trademark laws and all that, Canonical holds all Ubuntu TLDs
thank you jpds for taking time to look at the request and then repoint the site for the time being. Also aking time to reply on this thread, is really appreciated.
