    Ubuntu giving me headaches

Every single time I try to install, or do anything with Ubuntu it freezes after around 5 minutes of use. Just a hard crash where I have to restart the computer.

What is causing it to just freeze all the time?

It might help if you were to provide a bit more information. Like is this a live cd install. What are the properties of the machine you are trying to load it on. That kind of thing.

    Re: Ubuntu giving me headaches

it is likely either an OS problem (reinstalling is usually easiest), a configuration issue (did you change anything just before this started?) or a hardware/driver issue (did you install any drivers, or have any suspicions about the hardware being dodgy?)

if no one else is having simmilar issues, then try a reinstall. if the problem still exists, then it is likely a hardware issue.
