    Re: Change Sound Scheme

Well, I know in Jaunty you can go to System -> Preferences -> Sound, then go to the Sounds tab. Unfortunately, you must change them individually, and, from what I've heard, they must be in .wav format. I'm pretty sure you can change the actual sound scheme itself, but I'm not sure how; I hope that Ubuntu Karmic will allow for a much more simple, obvious way to change this.

I guess the only way it'll ever be implemented is if we ask, right?
Let me know if I'm being too technical - or not technical enough!

    Re: Change Sound Scheme

Yeah, there doesn't appear to be any way to change sounds in Karmic. There is no sounds control in the "Control Center." And there is no sounds controller that can be added to a menu. On the "volume" control there are several sounds that may be selected. But no way to choose new sounds or a new theme. This is dumb.
