    firefox problems

    hi,

I'm having some problem with firefox,
Its alwayse maximised, and it goes over my dock and my top panel.
It also dosen't show the minimize, maximize and close button on the to right.

I don't really wanne reinstall my firefox since I have massive amount of plugins/logins I need to set up every time I get a fresh install.

I really have no idea how this happend, it used to work fine.

Hope someone knows how to fix this!

edit: also when I alt tab and it comes at the firefox window it starts to flicker really badly

    Thanks in advance

Sounds like it is starting it Fullscreen mode. This happened to my girlfriend and seems to be a common bug. Hit f11 and let me know if that changes it back.

It might also be a compiz issue do you have Visual Effects on?
if so try turning them off at System>Preferences>Appearance>Visual Effects tab.

Let me know if this is the issue.

PS do you have close, min, max buttons in other windows it would looks like the top usually orange bar is gone that's what it looks like when emerald or compiz goes nuts.

<edit> Ohh nm well good deal.

    I had this, F11 didn't help, but alt-F11 did.
