    Changing hardware

    I have a failing motherboard, I was given a newer board with a faster cpu. My question is, can I put in the newer mother and repair the OS and use it? Or am I reloading from scratch? I know that reloading would be the cleanest way to go, but,,,,,,,

    You shouldn't need to reinstall Ubuntu after replacing the hardware.
