how do i get the gigabyte u8000 to work in ubuntu 8.10 intrepid

i have made this work in 8.04 but it will not work in 8.10 ive tryed all of the wikis and none that ive found say anything about 8.10
please help me

Anders Kaseorg has built packages for Jaunty that will also work in Intrepid. They are available in his ppa here:

i still cant find the download ink for the file your talking about ive looked for it but all ive found is the 1 on navada drivers
