I think it is funny that Cuba thinks windows my contain big brother functionality. This is part of the seasons I'm going 100% open source.

I don't see why it would be illegal.

The current regulation does not limit travel of US Citizens to Cuba per se, but it makes it illegal for US Citizens to have transactions (spend money or receive gifts) in Cuba under most circumstances without a US government Office of Foreign Assets Control issued license.[5]

Cuba's internet issues have nothing to do with the US. Only government officials are allowed to access the internet. The only way a citizen can access internet is through a stolen access code purchased on the black market, and if there caught they are punished severely with extremely long prison sentences, or even death in some cases. So for those that want to say the US needs to lift trade embargoes, this is why we don't. They are a dictatorship and will not benefit from the us economy in any way unless they change there ways.

not true. I'm reading all about cuba and internet since this morning. US doesn't allow cuba to use fiberoptics, it's not a secret. On the other hand, cuban governement doesn't encourage the use of internet either. only professors and people that require net access for their work.
