    Help- Network problem after updates?

I've checked out several recent threads and while they are similar to mine I'll go ahead and post...

Running 8.10 64bit. Works great. Except after this new kernel came out.

My problem: I'll lose my network connection after several hours requiring a reboot. It says I'm still connected but not even a ping will get through. I've tried ifup/down for my wlan0. Nothing. Not sure if I did the commands right anyway. Looked at /etc/network/interfaces. Appears normal(?)... No mad skills here. I need advice.

Help! This is an irritating situation. I don't like rebooting my machine this much.

BTW- no firewall up in my network at present.

    Thanks

Re: Help- Network problem after updates?

Happened again twice since I originally posted. Its frequency of occurrence is increasing. Seems to be centered around the Wifi connection since when I plug in an ethernet cable I get a working connection via that route.

    Help?
