problems with pulse over a network

My previous experiences with Pulse as a network sound driver on a wired network were pretty good, but now, over a wireless network it seems more difficult.

If i use one laptop as a Multicast/RTP sender and start a film and use my workstation as a Multicast/RTP receiver, the sound has a lot of latency and there are a lot of cracks. Does this have to do with the wireless connection?

I think not since the wireless connection can have more than 1,5 mbit/sec and it wasn't even using 100 k/sec. So what can it be?

    Thanks in advance
