D-Link DWL-650 - Need Help But Not Helpless

Hi.

I've been trying to get my Wireless NIC (D-Link DWL-650) to work with Ubuntu 8.10. All help is appreciated.


Out of fear of including too much info. I've decided to provide complete hardware profiles as attachments.
> Attachment 'DLink Ubuntu.txt.zip' is hardware info in Ubuntu.
> Attachment 'DLink Knoppix.txt.zip' is hardware info in Knoppix (wireless works here)


Some (hopefully) useful information:
> Ndiswrapper failed on drivers from both D-Link and Realtek

> The wireless NIC does work in the recently released version of Knoppix - ver. 6/Adriane.
