I have a laptop in dual-boot configuration. (Windows XP & Ubuntu 8.04).

Since 3 days I am experiencing lots of problems in getting my PCMCIA wireless card which is attached on a express card adapter in order to connect it on my laptop express card slot.

The wireless card is an atheros based chipset card which is a Ubiquiti SRC 300mW card. I thought from the beginning, once I installed Ubuntu 8.04 that I can use this card just straight away without having any problems at all.

By the way I have installed all the newest updates in Ubuntu 8.04!

Bad luck. Even if I am issuing the lspci command on a terminal window, this card is not showing anywhere up.

The card was fully tested and worked 100% under Windows XP, which therefore means that the problem is not with the wireless card.

Is the actual configuration mentioned above (PCMCIA to Card Express adapter) accepted in Ubuntu 8.04 at all, or do I need to find particular drivers for the Express card in order then to get it all to work under Ubuntu.

If you need any pictures of the wireless card attached to the PC Card express adapter please just let me know!

Thank you very much!
