Chat clients for classic mac os?

I have mac os 8 on my powerbook 3400c, and with Icab browser it runs quite well considering it has 32mb ram I can even run games from the macintosh garden lol. It would be very useful if anyone knew of a Macintosh chat client like pidgin that supported aim or yahoo? Thanks!

Basically I think you are stuck with old versions of the branded apps if you can find them... not sure if they will connect with the services anymore either...

I don't care if they are old. Do you know of any? I just had to use Netscape 3.01. I think if I can deal with 32 java script errors poping up when I visit this site I think I can deal with old software

That link looks like it has links to other sites with older stuff on it...

You USED to be able to download the old versions directly from the companies... but it's getting harder to do that these days. : /
