How to deactivate nepomuk services ??

    Hi guys,

I can see that there's a process called "nepomukservices" that eats up at least 50% of my Core2 CPU.

I read that we could deactivate it through System Settings; does anyone know where exactly?

    Thanks !

hi there, if you go into system settings then click on the advanced tab, there should be an option for nepomuk clicking on that will give you the option to deactivate it

There is no such thing as System Settings as best I can tell.

    Hi
You need to go to the K menu (the blue k in a square) then Settings> System Settings>Advanced>Nepomuk Services then deactivate the semantic server

    and thats all.

If you don't use KDE, I just discovered you can install from the repository the controller: nepomukcontroller and you have there the visual settings.
