Hi guys,
I can see that there's a process called "nepomukservices" that eats up at least 50% of my Core2 CPU.
I read that we could deactivate it through System Settings; does anyone know where exactly?
Thanks !

hi there, if you go into system settings then click on the advanced tab, there should be an option for nepomuk clicking on that will give you the option to deactivate it![]()
There is no such thing as System Settings as best I can tell.
Wayno
Hi
You need to go to the K menu (the blue k in a square) then Settings> System Settings>Advanced>Nepomuk Services then deactivate the semantic server
and thats all.
If you don't use KDE, I just discovered you can install from the repository the controller: nepomukcontroller and you have there the visual settings.
