That wouldn't do anything.
how do I do it?
working great now.
I just re-instal ubuntu, as I could not find a working solution.
Damn I have this problem too after installing new graphics cards...
I get (EE) No devices detected. Meanwhile modprobe nvidia works and lspci | grep VGA gives me
Can't I just specify the pci address in xorg.conf or something? This is making me hate Ubuntu.Code:02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GeForce GTX 285 (rev a1) 03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GeForce GTX 285 (rev a1)
hi drvid,
Sorry to read you have the same problem.
There must be a solution without the need to re-instal. Shoud be the last resort
Could not find one, though.
Do you have envyng installed?
Give it a go and let me know.
