Thread: Can't change wallpaper

    Unhappy Can't change wallpaper

    Ran into a little oddity on KDE 3.5.9 - I can no longer change my desktop image. I can set it via, say, Konqueror and Actions > Set as Background > ... but not via configuring my desktop (nothing happens).

    I've also moved ~/.kde/share/config/kdesktoprc and rebooted X but it doesn't even create me a new kdesktoprc.

    I don't have sudo access though.

    have you tried right-clicking on the desktop?

    I can right-click my desktop and change various settings, but nothing involving the wallpaper "sticks".
