Looking for a quick GUI way to convert a folder full of '.aif' files to '.mp3'.
I can't even find a decent way to play them, let alone convert them to a format that I can use elsewhere.
Any suggestions?

The revolution will not be brought to you by Xerox
In 4 parts without commercial interruptions.
The revolution will not be televised.
Any decent player should give you playback, I just tried an .aif with amarok, totem-xine, vlc and mplayer, all good. (amarok is only music player I haveI can't even find a decent way to play them
gstreamer apps like rhythmbox won't.
ffmpeg or any decent converter should suffice to convert (I only have ffmpeg
