Bind workspace with application ==possible?

hello all:} long time no see

i quick question. is it possible to bind 1 workspace of Gnome desktop with one application, so when i launch the app, to load on that workspace and furthermore, all other popup windows from other applications to move to other workspaces, while i work on that one?

I think devilspie can do this. (Or use a better wm, like ion3 )
