Hello all!
I am currently looking on propertyroom.com at the various laptops for a machine to buy for a new (to me) Linux box and was wondering about the general compatibility issues one would expect from such a task. To narrow it down, does Ubuntu have issues with recognizing wireless NICs?
I'm a very green Ubuntu user, with all experience being on desktops and the ease with which the OS recognized all of the hardware. But I recognize that laptops can be challenging little beasties.
So with that, I hope to hear some experiences people have had.
